How will the electorate respond to this new mix is uncertain. But if public opinion supports the new strategy, Brazil will likely move forward in the direction of relevance and superpower status.
It's about time SA started to flex some muscle on the scene. Welcome to the club. Brazil's struggle throughout the cold war to present has been an amazing journey. Frankly half the battle of becoming a superpower is to assert that you are. It won't be lacking in disagreements, but it's time to re-evaluate SA's place on the world stage, and Brazil will lead that debate.
I agree with you. It is time for different perspectives and approaches in foreign policies. It may take time to have it accepted by others though.
